Abstract

This is an interview with Celso Rojas, he is an architect and an artist whose passion is drawing. This is the opportunity to learn from the author and the meanings behind his drawings characterized by dark colors, done in charcoal, gouache or ink. Sometimes he even combines these techniques. His drawing suggests images of imaginary beings, angels, demons, or nonreadable text. For Celso Rojas, his drawings show the dark side of the society, otherness, life and death as the two sides of a whole. His drawings have no dates which explains that his work is perceived as “timeless”.
