Curating and Managment 12th Cuenca Bienal

This text recalls the process of organizing a contemporary art biennial, and how to think this project in the long term. This is a report on the Biennial’s management process and how the executive part emphasized their sensitive view to produce this edition. This article shows the development of a curatorship coherent with the reality of the city and from a local cultural institution; shows as well how the reality of Ecuador, Cuenca and this Biennial.
