Abstract

Bitácora de Color is an artistic project by Pilar Flores, that includes worshops, an exhibition (from classroom and artistic processes of the students and the professor) and books. The exhibition was open from October 22nd. to 28th. 2018 in Centro Cultural-Universidad Católica del Ecuador PUCE, as part of II Encuentro de Arte, Educación, Interculturalidad organized by Carrera Artes Visuales PUCE. This project is the result of two years of discussions between Pilar Flores and Roberto Vega.

Author Biographies

Roberto Vega, CAC

Artista Visual por la PUCE. Entre 2014 y 2016 trabajó en los departamentos de Investigación y del Premio Nacional de Artes Mariano Aguilera del Centro de Arte Contemporáneo de Quito CAC. Master en MFA Fine Arts por la School of Visual Arts de Nueva York. Actualmente es Supervisor de Mediación del CAC y profesor en la Universidad San Francisco de Quito USFQ. Ha exhibido su trabajo en España, Alemania, EEUU y Ecuador.

Pilar Flores, PUCE

Artista Visual. Ha realizado 30 exposiciones individuales en Europa y Sud América. Licenciada en Artes (UCE, 1981). Master en Docencia Universitaria e Investigación Educativa (PUCE 2005); autora de los libros Taller de Arte: una organización compleja, TRAMA (2006); Diario de un iris, TRAMA (2015); TEJIDO, PUCE (2017). Docente de la Facultad de Arquitectura, Diseño y Artes de la PUCE desde 1994.
