Abstract

This work is a tribute to the bars and openwork blocks that formed the city between the fifties and seventies of the twentieth century, and now are being discarded. Along these architectural details, a permeable and creative way of separating the public and private space that allowed the fluid exchange between passers-by and dwellers disappears.

Natalia Espinosa nació en Quito en 1976. Estudios: 2012-2013, Universidad Andina Simón Bolívar, Maestría en Estudios de la cultura, mención Estudios visuales, Quito. 2000-2004, Gerrit Rietveld Academie, Licenciatura en artes, especialización en cerámica, Ámsterdam, Países Bajos. 1999-2000 Universidad Católica de Santiago de Chile, Artes plásticas. 1997-1998, PUCE, Quito, Facultad de Arquitectura y artes. 1993-1995, L.B Pearson College, UWC, Bachillerato internacional, Columbia Británica, Canadá.
