Abstract

This essay explores the powers of self-figuration to critically consider disability representations. Recent artistic projects are analyzed in which intimacy and collective encounter become possibilities of disruption. Through collaborative photography exercises, the aim is to unlearn the notions of normality and the ideals of sufficiency to be affected by what makes us fragile and vulnerable.
